Our Home Land, Heaven_Christ Ahnsahnghong

While living in this world we may sometimes feel like their is more to life than just going to work and school. We may look at life in general and think of how brief and short it is. In the bible describes our feeling towards living in this world, God speaks about our feelings towards our life at we live day to day, as it states in Ecc. 3:11,

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

Then even though we live a very short life on this Earth, we tend to think about the spiritual world (heaven).

Its beacause this Earth is not our home land but Heaven. For we are consider aliens and strangers on this planet, as it is written in, 1 Pet. 2:11,

“Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war agaist your soul”

and also we read about the ancestors of faith, the bible speaks about their feelings towards heaven, in Heb.11:13-16,

“All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomeed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country-a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city fro them.”

And Jacob spoke his visit here on Earth to the Pharoah in ancient Egypt, as it states in

Gen. 47: 7-9, “Then Joseph brough his father Jacob and presented him before Pharaoh. After Jacob blessed Pharaoh, The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers.”

Then where is our home land? Its the Kingdom Of Heaven, which God wants us all to be, as it also written in Phil.3:20-21,

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everyting under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”

I will like to thank Father Ahnsahnghong for coming down to this land of oblivion (Psalms 88:12)to remind about our heavenly home, so that we may have the oppurtunity come to Zion to return to our true country, as it written Psalms 84:5-7,

“Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage… They go from strength to strength till each appears before God in Zion.
